Create your own special Christmas pudding plate with this kit.
 
Turn your child's bum print into a cheeky Christmas pudding!
 
Please note: Our current plate has a rim
These Christmas pudding bum print plates are only available to do at home in case of nappy-related incidents at the studio!
 
The kit includes:
Your pottery item - unrimmed plate
Paints in resealable pots
2 brushes ( 1 medium for decorating, 1 fine for writing)
1 cotton buds for dots (if you wish)
1 felt tip
Sponge for putting the paint on your baby's bottom
 
Instructions
Colours: The kit includes mid brown for bum print, dark brown, red, dark green, beige.
Please do the writing in red as it will wipe off in case of mistakes.

The colours will look pale when you use them but they will become bright and shiny when the pottery is fired.
 
If you have any special requests for colours, please let us know.
 
Just return the pottery to us for firing.
 
Adult supervision is recommended. It's a great idea to have someone to help you with the print!
 
Clean your baby's bum with wipes, then wash your child's bum with just water and pat dry.
 
Tip: Before you start: It's a great idea to practise doing the print with water first and then do it with paint!
 
1. Use the sponge to dab paint your baby's bum with the mid brown paint paint and press the plate firmly onto the baby's bum.
If it goes wrong, wipe the print off the plate with a damp sponge and have another go.
2. Use the felt tip to plan your writing and to sketch the outline of any decorations, holly etc.
The felt tip vanishes when it's fired. If you're not happy, do it again. The felt tip WILL disappear. It's just for planning.
3. Use the fine brush to paint over your words . 
4. You can add any other dots or decorations that you want! 
 
Please return all the paints and brushes. Please return the pottery to us for firing. 
It will take around one week for your pottery to be fired.
